🚑 Yesterday, Sunday 8/03/2026, marked a massive milestone as we proudly deployed the first official pilot case of the SmartPLAIGO Communication Platform live at the TUI Marathon 2026 in Paphos!🏃‍♂️
This achievement was made possible through the dedicated development efforts of Stremble Ventures Ltd team, eHealth Lab and Eratosthenes Center of Excellence team bringing this innovative vision to life!

📱💻📍Alongside the Stremble Ventures Ltd team, the eHealth Lab – Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) team, Eratosthenes CoE team and the dedicated SHSO CY Ambulance and Emergency Staff, we set up our equipment right by the Paphos Castle. The platform successfully supported ΟΚΥπΥ operations, helping the team manage multiple minor injury cases by maintaining fast, real-time communication!

💬🩺 In case you missed it, SmartPLAIGO is an innovation project developing digital tools to support Emergency Medical Services (EMS) operations. As part of the project, a GDPR-compliant communication platform plug-in integrated with the AVARIS system was developed to enhance real-time coordination between dispatchers, ambulance crews, and operational staff. By combining secure communication with geospatial and decision-support capabilities, SmartPLAIGO aims to improve situational awareness and support faster, more efficient emergency response.
